The estate boasts with many exclusive & private amenities, ideal for retreats, getaways & daily meditations. The Salamander, labyrinth, meditation garden, harvest patch & Blue Lion gallery all form part of what Artemis has to offer. The Estate accommodates day groups, accommodation to be booked in the bespoke town of Franschhoek. Each space may be utilised as needed.

The Salamander Art Lounge is built on Sacred Geometric principles. Its diameter is one millionth the diameter of the earth, being hexagonal, it encompasses stunning views over the world renowned vineyards of the Franschhoek valley, with the eternal mountains as a backdrop. This is the place to write that play, or novel, or paint that painting that needs to be expressed.

Meditation Garden & Labyrinth

The Meditation Garden and Labyrinth is included in the daily rate & rental fees of the Estate. It is the perfect space to use for meditations, yoga & team building events etc.

Vegetable patch

The vegetable patch is open for use depending on season as well as which vegetables and fruit are available. Specific produce may be specified accordingly. The Salamander is equipped with a kitchen suitable for the preparation and cooking of meals. The prices with regards to the vegetables available depend on the produce available. This may be arranged in advance. Groups are most welcome to bring their own produce & condiments.

Natural Wading pool for guests to enjoy.

The Estate boasts with refreshing wading pool, overlooking Mother Mountain. This space is perfect for sunrise & sunset meditation sessions and swims.


Blue Lion Gallery

The Blue Lion gallery boasts with an upstairs section as well as many intricate nooks and crannies that pay tribute to the pieces being celebrated. The gallery bleeds into a garden path that leads one to a labyrinth. Every step encourages its’ explorer to behold the internal celebration which becomes the gallery. This sacred union is protected by the bellowing mountains of Franschhoek.

Weekend packages…

Option One

The gallery may be reserved over weekends at a daily rate of R800.00 for a maximum of two days. The exhibition will be open to the public. Hosts are welcome to entertain their guests with food & drink provided that they clean the premises afterwards. The surrounding garden and labyrinth will also be included for guests to explore.

Option Two

Arrangements may be made for exhibitions exceeding the two day mark. A special booking fee is negotiable with Andrea.
